Training

The goal of the Missouri Disability and Health Collaborative is to improve the health and well-being of people with disabilities in our state by providing access  training opportunities.

For instance, health care providers want to learn how they can better respond to the needs of patients with disabilities. They need training in how to make their materials and buildings accessible, how to reach out to people with disabilities, how to communicate with them, and how to provide accommodations.

For this reason, we have highlighted the Responsive Practice training series for health care professionals. Learn more about this free, continuing education opportunity here.
