These online, on-demand training sessions were developed by the New Hampshire Disability and Health State Program and are were selected in partnership with the Center’s for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Disability and Health 10-State Programs Workgroup.
Responsive Practice: Providing Health Care and Screenings to Individuals with Disabilities
In this training, health care providers will learn to
- Describe disparities in health experienced by people with disabilities
- Recognize barriers people with disabilities face when accessing health care & preventive services
- Acquire strategies & approaches to provide disability-competent, responsive care
